      How do I create an offer?

      Encourage guests to sample a new appetizer or return for a special promotion through Fishbowl Offers. Generate discounts for any customer to incentivize visits and stay engaged.

      Offer Creation Instructions:

      1. Initiate Offer Creation:

        • Click on the "Create Offer" button to start creating a new offer.

      2. Basic Details:

        • Provide the following basic information:
          • Offer Name and Internal Name: Enter a descriptive name for the offer and an internal reference name.
          • Select Offer Type: Choose between "$ Off Check" or "% Off Check" to indicate whether the offer deducts a dollar or percentage value from the entire check.

      3. Offer Details:

        • Specify the offer details as follows:
          • Offer Value:
            • Choose from preset values of $5, $10, or $15, or set a custom value.
          • Minimum Purchase Amount:
            • Select from preset values of $5, $50, or $100, or set a custom value.
          • Must Purchase Items:
            • Select the items that must be purchased to qualify for the coupon redemption. Note that menu items reflect your POS hierarchy.

      4. Restrictions:

        • Define redemption limits and other restrictions:
          • Total Redemption Limits:
            • Choose between limiting by member, by coupon, or allow unlimited redemptions.
          • Limit by Timeframe:
            • Set limits per day, week, or month.
          • Allowed Order Mode:
            • Specify if the offer applies to all orders, online orders, or in-store purchases.
          • Optional:
            • Customize further by combining with other offers, allowing POS discounts, or requiring manager authorization.
          • Exclude Menu Items:
            • Choose items to exclude, if any, from those previously selected as must-purchase items.

      5. Store Selection:

        • Select the stores where the offer is valid.

      6. Schedule:

        • Define the offer's validity period:
          • Offer Start:
            • Choose to start today or select a specific date.
          • Offer End:
            • Choose to start today or select an end date.
          • Days Valid:
            • Specify the days of the week the offer is valid.
          • Restricted Hours:
            • Set specific hours when the offer is valid.

      7. Finalize:

        • Complete the offer setup with the following details:
          • Receipt Text: Text to display on the POS and customer receipts.
          • Vanity Code: Alphanumeric code for easy redemption in online ordering (if applicable).
          • POS Discount ID: Directly link the offer to a specific discount ID in the POS (if needed).
          • Tags: Organize and track the offer with tags.
          • Notes: Additional information for internal management.
          • Descriptions: Provide consumer-friendly descriptions for use in a mobile app or other platforms.

      8. Review and Finalize:

        • Choose to save the offer as a draft for further review or publish it immediately.
